Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)

Pregnancy protection from 3 to 10 years with Long Acting Reversible Contraception (LARC)

Looking to prevent pregnancy for an extended period of time, LARC may be an option for you.

The following long acting reversible contraception (long-term birth control) are highly-effective, non-permanent methods for preventing pregnancy that do not have to be thought about on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis. Once the LARC method is removed, a woman’s fertility will quickly return and she will be able to get pregnant.

Long-term contraception does not provide protection against Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs). You will still need to use a condom to reduce your risk of contracting STDs.
